For almost a year, Google has been allowing its users to schedule the sending of a message, without having to go through a third-party application. As the holiday season is approaching, find out how to schedule an SMS or MMS from your Android smartphone. And of course, best wishes to you!
1. Write your message
Open the Google Messages SMS application on your smartphone and write a message as you would normally do. Once your missive is finished, keep your finger pressed on the send button.
If you see a window indicating Urgent and Subject (left image), you still have the old sending interface dedicated to MMS. So you will have to wait a few more days, or even weeks, before being able to schedule the sending of SMS.
On the other hand, if the scheduling function is activated, you should see a pop-up Schedule the sending (right image).
2. Schedule your mailing
When the scheduling window appears, you can choose one of the predefined suggestions, or Select a custom date and time.
Once you have completed each of these parameters, press Next and validate the scheduling of your mailing by pressing Save. In order to send your message correctly, your smartphone must be switched on and connected to the Wi-Fi or mobile data network
